Watching films now, that you originally saw as a child, is an interesting experiment. This week we did a marathon of Jurassic Park – one, two, and three. Re-watching the first one I understood things that I didn’t when I first saw it and I had an entirely different feel for each of the characters than I did originally. Obviously your perspectives and outlook on life are different at age 7 than 25 but it just amazed me at how different the same film could be just so many years later. Happy Monday! xxxooo

Lately the main thing on my brain aside from the usual (current events, latest baking crave, newest fashion trend, etc.) is trip planning. Last week I pretty much spent every free day researching and putting together – what I think is to be – a great 10 day trip to Italy. It covers 85% of where I want to go, what I want to see, and do. It goes without saying that I’m beyond excited to go and bring back plenty of memories (and of course souviners). Any upcoming trips you have planned? Happy Monday! xxxooo

Something about San Francisco has always made me love the city. The mixture of cultures, such different neighborhoods, and varieties of foods to being an hour drive to wine country. There’s something to love no matter who you are or what you want to do. Granted I’ve only been up there a handful of times, but ever since my brother got married in the city last June it holds a little bit of home. So many great memories, I need to make a more conscience effort to visit it more often. Happy Monday! xxxooo
