Happy Monday! I started a new job/career path a couple weeks ago that I’m currently loving, and my brothers getting married Saturday. So my week is beyond insanely busy. Trying to plan out my days, plus packing, plus juggling everything that is a wedding makes for a very, very overwhelmed person. Hope your week is less busy but just as exciting. xxxooo

I’m a bit afraid of color, always leaning towards the neutral side of the color wheel. My closet consists of mainly blacks, whites, and grays. I love doing “pops” of color (and I truly mean a “pop”) like this outfit above. Keeping the top half simple and letting the yellow jeans be the main focal point with the accessories blending in with flesh tones.Happy Friday! xxxooo

DIY Greeting Cards

I’m not sure why it took me this long to think about making my own greeting cards. But it makes perfect sense and it saves about $4 for every card I’d normally buy. For birthdays or thank you cards you can design them ahead of time and keep them stored. Plus the supplies are normally found around the house with a little unexpected surprises – like nail polishes, lipsticks, sprinkle, sand – nothing is off limits. Now there are no excuses for never sending a thank you note (which I’m a big proponent of).

With summer finally here, it only feels appropriate enough to have spent the entire weekend outside by the pool. It being a consistent 85* outside all weekend long the days were cooled off by dipping into the pool, while Saturday night was cooled off by enjoying a comedy show and Sunday evening with happy hour cocktails and ceviche. Hope y’all had a good weekend! xxxooo
