Spring into Pink

{flour, sugar, 1/3 cup of oil, 1 cup of water, 2 eggs}

{first layer a bright pink}

{second layer a lighter pink}

{a 3 layer pink lemonade gradient cake}

{with cream cheese frosting + pink sprinkles}

With spring in the air everywhere, I decided to finally bake something that fits this type of year. Pink lemonade cake with cream cheese frosting! To make things a bit more interesting I decided to make the layers gradient shades of pink. Which would be pretty dramatic with the juxtaposing white frosting. The layers are bit crumplier than I would have liked, but the taste is still amazing. And there is something about the color pink that makes ANYthing taste so much sweeter.
